Organizations may or may not need support in a number of areas.

Sales Support

Trained Access Data Systems sales personnel can determine requirements and submit a quotation for the Warehouse Management System. The sales person can also provide answers to technical questions about our products. This service is provided at no additional charge.

Requirements Definitions (RD)

While it is easy to assume that a given Warehouse Management System will be able to provide solutions for all the detailed requirements of an installation, experience has shown that it is important to document the specific needs of the warehouse operation before installing a system.

Organizations may be able to create their own RD. If so, it should be provided to the CompassIM sales representative before requesting the quotation.

Access Data Systems can also be asked to create the RD. Usually, this involves one or two days on site, followed by two days to prepare the document. The cost to have Access Data Systems create the RD varies depending on the complexities involved, based on a daily RD rate of $1,200.

Or, you may determine that a Requirements Definition is not needed. If you download the CompassIM product set and test it according to your operation, you may feel that the features of the system are adequate for your needs.

A word of caution: once you purchase CompassIM, we are committed to support the features provided. If you need customization, we will consider whether the work can be accomplished at little or no additional cost. The fact that we cannot accept the responsibility to provide customized or new features without charging means that care should be taken to ensure that the product meets all your needs.
